Shaykh Makki Al-Hijazi was born in 1935. His father, Shaykh Mohammad Khair Makki was a great scholar of Islam, and taught Quran & Sunnah for a period of 40 years in Masjid Al-Haram, Makkah. Shaykh Mohammad Makki Al-Hijazi was grown up in Makkah Mukarramah. After successfully completing his formal education on Quran & Sunnah, Allah blessed him to teach Tafsir ibn Kathir, Tafsir e Jalalain & Sunan Thirmidi in Masjid Al-Haram Makkah.

Since 1970, Shaykh Makki Al-Hijazi has been teaching Tafsir ibn Kathir in Urdu, and Tafsir e Jalalain & Sunan Thirmidi in Arabic in Masjid Al-Haram Makkah.
Tafsir e Makki is being written by listening the Shaykh Makki’s recorded audio by a group of scholars.
He travelled across the globe (North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe & Oceania) multiple times for the cause of Islam.

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم آج میں آپ سب ساتھیوں کے لیئے وہ احادیث پیش کرنے جا رہا ہوں جن میں نبیﷺ کا ارشاد مبارک ہے کہ ایسا ایسا کام کرنے والے ہم میں سے نہیں ہیں، اس فقرے کی مراد مختلف علماء اور محدثین نے مختلف پیش کی ہے بعض نے کہا کہ اس سے مراد یہ ہے کہ وہ ہم اہل بیت میں سے نہیں ہیں، بعض نے کہا اس سے مراد مسلمانوں میں سے نہیں ہے، بعض نے کہا کہ ہمارے طریقے پر نہیں ہے اور بعض نے کہا کہ وہ ہماری جماعت میں سے نہیں ہے، اب ان مفاہیم میں سے کوئی بھی فہم لیا جائے تو بھی بہت خطرناک معاملہ بنتا ہے اس لیئے بھائیو اور بہنو اپنی اپنی اصلاح کی طرف توجہ دینے کی اشد ضرورت ہے کہ ان سبھی برُے کاموں میں سے کوئی ایک کام بھی ہمارے اعمال میں موجود نہیں رہنا چاہیئے کہ کہیں اس ارشادِ نبویﷺ کی زَد میں ہماری ذات نہ آ جائے کہ وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے۔ ویسے جہاں تک میں اس کو سمجھا ہوں وہ یہ ہے کہ ہر موقعہ پر اس کا معنی اور مفہوم بدل جاتا ہے یعنی جہاں معاملہ سنگین ہو وہاں اس کا معنی بھی سنگین ہوگا یعنی وہ ہم مسلمانوں میں سے نہیں ہے اور جہاں معاملہ ہلکی نوعیت کا ہوگا وہاں معنی بھی ہلکا ہوگا یعنی وہ ہمار...
