Shaykh Makki Al-Hijazi was born in 1935. His father, Shaykh Mohammad Khair Makki was a great scholar of Islam, and taught Quran & Sunnah for a period of 40 years in Masjid Al-Haram, Makkah. Shaykh Mohammad Makki Al-Hijazi was grown up in Makkah Mukarramah. After successfully completing his formal education on Quran & Sunnah, Allah blessed him to teach Tafsir ibn Kathir, Tafsir e Jalalain & Sunan Thirmidi in Masjid Al-Haram Makkah.

Since 1970, Shaykh Makki Al-Hijazi has been teaching Tafsir ibn Kathir in Urdu, and Tafsir e Jalalain & Sunan Thirmidi in Arabic in Masjid Al-Haram Makkah.
Tafsir e Makki is being written by listening the Shaykh Makki’s recorded audio by a group of scholars.
He travelled across the globe (North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe & Oceania) multiple times for the cause of Islam.

اسلامی عقیدہ کا اہم پہلو الوَلاء والبراء

وَلاء کے معنی بیان کرتے ہوئے امام راغبؒ نے فرمایاہے کہ ’ولائ‘ کے اصل معنی ’’دو یا دو سے زیادہ چیزوں کااس طرح یکے بعد دیگرے آنا کہ ان کے درمیان کوئی ایسی چیز نہ آئے جو ان میں سے نہ ہو۔ پھر یہ لفظ استعارہ کے طور پر قرب کے معنی میں استعمال ہونے لگا ہے، خواہ وہ قرب بلحاظ مکان ہو یا بلحاظِ نسب، یا بلحاظِ دین اور دوستی و نصرت کے ہو، یا بلحاظِ اعتقاد کے۔ ‘‘ (المفردات،ص۵۵۵) اسی سے لفظ ’ولی‘ ہے جس کی ضد ’عدوّ‘ (دشمن) ہے اور اسی سے ’الموالات‘ اور ’المواسات‘ ہے جس کے معنی میں تقرب، دوستی، تعاون، مدد، صلح، اور غم خواری کا مفہوم پایا جاتاہے۔ وَلاء کے مقابلے میں بَراء ہے جس کے اصل معنی:کسی ناپسندیدہ اور مکروہ امر سے نجات حاصل کرنا کے ہیں۔ اسی لئے کہا جاتاہے: براء تُ من المرض’’میں تندرست ہوگیا، میں نے بیماری سے نجات پائی۔‘‘ اوریوں بھی کہا جاتا ہے: براء تُ من فلان یعنی ’’میں فلاں سے بیزارہوں۔‘‘ گویا’ولائ‘ میں موالات ہے اور ’برائ‘ میں انقطاع اور بیزاری مراد ہے اور یہ دونوں حقیقۃً ’محبت‘ اور’بُغض‘کے تابع ہیں اور یہی دونوں ایمان کی بنیادی صفات ہیں۔ رسول اللہﷺ کاارشاد ہے : ’’من أ...

پچھلی دو تین دہائیوں سے فہم قرآن کی جو تحریک پاکستان کے بڑے بڑے شہروں میں بالعموم اور شہر لاہور میں بالخصوص جس تیزی سے پھیل رہی ہے و ہ واقعتا ایک بہت ہی مستحسن امر ہے۔اوریہ کہنے میں بھی کوئی مبالغہ نہیں ہے کہ اس تحریک نے ایک بہت بڑے تعلیم یافتہ طبقے کومتأثر کیا ہے اور ہزاروں افراد کی زندگیوں کے رُخ کویکسر تبدیل کر دیا ہے ۔یہ اسی درسِ قرآن اور ترجمۂ قرآن کی کلاسز کے ہی ثمرات ہیں کہ آج ہر طرف فہم قرآن کے ادارے نظر آتے ہیں اورقرآن کے درس وتدریس کا رجحان بہت تیزی سے بڑھ رہا ہے ۔ہم فہم قرآن کی اس تحریک کے حق میں ہیں اور اس کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتے ہیں،لیکن چونکہ اس تحریک کے اکثر افراد نہ تو دینی مدارس کے فارغ طلبہ یاعلماء ہیں اور نہ ہی انہوں نے ٹھوس علمی بنیادوں پر دین یعنی قرآن وحدیث کاباقاعدہ علم حاصل کیا ہوتا ہے بلکہ یہ عموما دینی اسلامی تحریکوں کے متحرک کارکنان ہوتے ہیں،اس لیے اپنی کم علمی کی وجہ سے یہ حضرات بعض اوقات لا شعوری طور پر درسِ قرآن کے اصل مقصد سے ہٹ کر ایک ایسی راہ پر چلنا شروع کر دیتے ہیں جس سے خیر کم وجود میں آتا ہے اور فتنہ پیدا ہونے کا امکان بڑھ جاتا ہے ۔ایسے مدرسین،اپ...
