Shaykh Makki Al-Hijazi was born in 1935. His father, Shaykh Mohammad Khair Makki was a great scholar of Islam, and taught Quran & Sunnah for a period of 40 years in Masjid Al-Haram, Makkah. Shaykh Mohammad Makki Al-Hijazi was grown up in Makkah Mukarramah. After successfully completing his formal education on Quran & Sunnah, Allah blessed him to teach Tafsir ibn Kathir, Tafsir e Jalalain & Sunan Thirmidi in Masjid Al-Haram Makkah.

Since 1970, Shaykh Makki Al-Hijazi has been teaching Tafsir ibn Kathir in Urdu, and Tafsir e Jalalain & Sunan Thirmidi in Arabic in Masjid Al-Haram Makkah.
Tafsir e Makki is being written by listening the Shaykh Makki’s recorded audio by a group of scholars.
He travelled across the globe (North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe & Oceania) multiple times for the cause of Islam.

تدوین قرآن اور حضرت ابو بکر صدیق پورا قرآن عہد رسالت میں لکھا جاچکا تھا مگر اس کی آیتیں اور سورتیں یکجا نہ تھی اولین شخص جس نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ترتیب کے مطابق اس کو مختلف صحیفوں میں جمع کیا وہ حضرت ابوبکررضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہتھے۔ ابو عبداللہ محاسبی( حارث بن اسدمحاسبی کی کنیتابو عبداللہ تھی ۔آپ اکابر صوفیہ میں تھے آپ فقہ واصول کے بہت بڑے عالم تھے اپنے عصر وعہد میں یہ اہل بغداد کے مشہور استادتھے آپ نے بغداد میں ۲۴۳ھجری میں وفات پائ (الاعلام للزرکلی،ج۲،ص۱۵۳)اپنی کتاب ''فہم السنن''میں رقمطرازہیں: ''قرآن کی کتابت کوئ نئ چیز نہ تھی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بذات خود اس کے لکھنے کا حکم دیا کرتے تھے البتہ وہ کاغذ کے ٹکٹڑوں۔شانہ کی ہڈیوں اور کھجور کی ٹہنیوں پر بکھرا پڑا تھا ۔حضرت ابو بکررضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ نے متفرق جگہوں سے اس کو یکجا کرنے کا حکم دیا یہ سب اشیاء یوں تھیں جیسے آنحضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھر میں اوراق منتشر پڑے ہوں اور ان میں قرآن لکھا ہو اہو ایک جمع کرنے والے (حضرت ابوبکررضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ )نے ان اوراق کو جمع کرکے ایک...
